Part-Time Human Resources Assistant - Valdosta

Home Instead is searching for a qualified, Human Resources Assistant with outstanding administrative and communication skills, as well as superb organizational and time management skills to join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Duties Include But Not Limited To

• Provide administrative support to our HR Director
• Assist with recruiting tasks such as reviewing resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, and following up with candidates
• Conduct bi-weekly employee training
• Handle Worker's Compensation claims
• Compile and process employee documentation and records, and keep the employee database up to date and in compliance with industry standards
• Serve as a reliable source of information for employees, addressing questions and complaints promptly and professionally
• Produce newsletters and weekly employee update publications
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Experience in an HR assistant role essential
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS office and related business and communication tools
• Proficient with technology and be able to pick up new software easily
• Fantastic organizational and time management skills
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Tact and professionalism when it comes to handling confidential information and employee concerns
