Key Responsibilities:
- Companionship: Engage in conversations, provide emotional support, and participate in activities to reduce feelings of isolation and promote well-being.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare meals according to the client’s preferences and dietary restrictions, ensuring proper nutrition.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing the client’s living space
- Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take medications on schedule, but not administer medications.
- Errands and Shopping: Assist with grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, or running other necessary errands.
- Monitor Client Health: Observe changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor or family member.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- 21 years of age or older
- Driver's license, auto insurance, reliable vehicle
- Reside in Manatee County
- Ability to pass background screenings
- Previous experience in caregiving or companionship roles preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and friendly demeanor.
- Reliable transportation (if needed for errands)
Salary : $15 - $17
