What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Aide position at Home Instead?
Duties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing the client's living space
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings as needed
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families
- Compassion and empathy towards individuals with special needs or health conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation
- Basic cooking skills for meal preparation
