Landscaper

We are seeking an efficient, hard-working Landscaper with strong landscaping and snow removal experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in all aspects of landscaping, including mowing, trimming, and yard clean-ups, and will also be capable of managing snow removal operations during the winter months. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and leadership skills to oversee and coordinate other crew members.

Key Responsibilities:

Landscaping:

• Mow lawns, using SCAG Zero-Turn mowers (experience preferred).
• Maintain flower beds, ensuring they are properly weeded, mulched, and free from debris.
• Perform seasonal yard clean-ups in Spring and Fall.
• Trim and remove trees and bushes as needed, ensuring safety and proper care of plants and shrubs.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of other crew members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Snow Removal:

• Clear snow from properties using plows, shovels, and snow blowers.
• Apply salt or other ice-melt products to driveways, walkways, and parking areas.
• Be available for quick response during snowstorms, ensuring properties are cleared promptly and efficiently.

Skills & Qualifications:

• General Landscaping Experience: Knowledge of proper landscaping techniques, lawn care, and tree/shrub maintenance.
• Experience with Landscaping Equipment: Proficient in the use of power equipment, including but not limited to:
• Lawn mowers (SCAG Zero-Turn experience preferred)
• Weed whacker/string trimmer
• Leaf blowers
• Snow Removal Experience: Experience with snow plowing, shoveling, snow blowing, and salting driveways and walkways.
• Valid Driver's License: Clean driving record with experience driving trucks with trailers of various sizes (preferred).
• Physical Stamina: Able to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and climb as necessary.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to oversee and lead a small crew, ensuring tasks are completed safely and on time.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with property managers, homeowners, and tenants.
• Time Management & Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and complete them with precision.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
