Responsibilities
Safety is the utmost important safety for our clients.
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing (ADLs).
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Communicate effectively with our team of professionals regarding client needs and progress.
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
Previous experience of (1) year of direct caregiving either in home or facility.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
Ability to follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have a valid driver's license, personal reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
Be punctual and possess a strong work ethic.
Certification in First Aid is mandatory per DHEC; paid training will be provided if needed.
Background check and drug screening are requirements.
