Job Overview:

Home Matters Caregiving is looking for motivated individuals to join our Lead Care Manager (LCM) Training Program, designed to develop future LCMs who will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the highest level of care. The LCM Training Program provides participants with the essential skills and hands-on experience required to manage home care operations effectively. This structure program focuses on developing leadership abilities, team management skills, and comprehensive understanding of home care services. Participants will learn how to oversee caregivers, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high-quality care standards. Upon successful completion, trainees will be prepared for a supervisory role within the company. The LCM in training will also be required to cover shifts when needed. Our caregiver first philosophy will change the way you think about your career in the home care industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift Coverage: availability to cover shifts from call outs and other emergency needs.
  • Caregiver Supervision: Learn how to train and supervise caregivers, ensuring they provide quality care to clients and adhere to company standards.
  • Client Care Coordination: Assist in managing and overseeing care plans to ensure clients receive the appropriate level of care, including conducting home visits and assessments.
  • Scheduling & Staffing: Support the coordination of caregivers schedules to ensure proper staffing coverage for all clients, maintaining continuity of care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Gain understanding of federal, state and local regulations governing home care services and learn to ensure compliance in daily operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in conducting performance evaluations and monitoring client satisfaction to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Conflict Resolution: Learn to address caregiver of client issues promptly, resolving conflicts and ensuring a positive care environment.
  • Leadership Development: Participate in training sessions focused on team leadership, communication, and problem-solving, helping to build supervisory skills.
  • Operational Support:Collaborate with office staff on administrative tasks such as caregiver documentation, payroll assistance, and client billing.

  • Must have 1 or more years of formal caregiving experience in senior care.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Familiarity with first aid procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
