What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interim Director of Nursing position at Home Nursing Agency?
Our client is in need of an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) for their premiere 4-star rated continuing care retirement community (CCRC) near Claremont, CA.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a DON in a SNF/LTC setting (required)
- 5 years of DON experience in SNF/LTC preferred
- An active California RN License
- CCRC experience is a plus!
- Strong survey history and excellent knowledge of California regulatory and compliance standards
- Availability to start ASAP
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff and ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations.
- Manage patient care operations within the skilled nursing facility, focusing on quality and safety.
- Implement and maintain EHR systems for efficient documentation and communication.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and resident's rights.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and care plans.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Please note: This is an Interim Director of Nursing assignment, NOT a permanent position
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $160,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
