You will oversee staff, report metrics, implement licensing technology solutions, create licensing policies and procedures, respond to regulatory requests, maintain records, and execute the annual firm renewal program. Responsibilities:
- Direct all firm licensing and registration requirements.
- Oversee associated persons and representative onboarding; effectively communicate the licensing/affiliation requirements of the firm, and advise and report on the status of individual and firm licensing activities; conduct due diligence and approval as needed.
- Manage the development, maintenance and implementation of written policies, processes and procedures as they pertain to the registration and licensing requirements of the Broker-Dealer and Registered Investment Adviser.
- Maintain and/or adopt appropriate licensing technology solutions, including workflow, systems integrations, data feeds and other software.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries, federal and state examinations, and file regulatory reports as necessary.
- Successfully execute the firm’s annual renewal program.
- Identify and implement process improvements when needed.
- Coach, guide and mentor a high performance team, meeting or exceeting Modern Woodmen’s established Service Principles.
- Provide support to the President of Modern Woodmen of America Financial Services, as well as other business unit staff.
What we need:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education/experience required.
- Active FINRA Series exams: SIE, Series 7, 24, 66 or willingness to obtain them within one year of hire.
- 7 years of experience in a securities, finance, regulatory or other business/leadership role.
- Knowledge of FINRA and SEC rules and regulations necessary.
- Strong research skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Organize and prioritize daily tasks while working independently.
- Anticipate and provide solutions to complex issues.
- Define expectations and make decisions.
- Lead others with purpose and clear direction.
What we offer:
- Pay: The annual pay range for this position is $110,000-$125,000. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
- Work Arrangements: This is a full-time office-focused position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7:00AM-9:00AM. Office-focused positions work on-site due to the nature of the work and have limited remote days.
