Responsibilities:
- Manage the Sales Support department responsible for providing on-demand sales support for our financial representatives over the phone, through email, or virtually through Zoom/Teams.
- Provide product and sales skills education for our financial representatives virtually through Zoom/Teams and in-person Home Office schools.
- Oversee, support, and provide training for our Planning for Life sales system.
- Develop, promote, and provide training for our electronic and printed sales materials and tools.
- Train, motivate and develop staff to meet the current and future needs of the department and the Modern Woodmen. Challenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor.
- Monitor field production and identify regions, districts, and representatives that need improvement and additional education.
- Communicate with the field and identify success stories that may be incorporated into field education and home office messaging.
- Ensure the proper systems, procedures, measurements and quality control standards are in place for the department’s work. Review and update policies and procedures as technology and regulations change.
- Maintain discipline, resolve problems, determine performance and recommend promotions, transfers or terminations.
- Develop, model and maintain a positive and professional work environment. Collaborate with other areas of the home office as needed to help us meet our corporate goals.
- Complete an annual budget for the department.
What we need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 7 years’ related experience.
- Designations and certifications: FINRA SIE, Series 6, 26 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them within one year of hire. CLU and/or ChFC plus FLMI are preferred. RICP and FICF are encouraged.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Organize and prioritize daily tasks while working independently.
- Anticipate and provide solutions to complex issues.
- Define expectations and make decisions.
- Lead others with purpose and clear direction.
What we offer:
- Pay: The annual salary range for this position is $100,000-$125,000. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
- Work Arrangements: This is a full-time office focused position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7:00AM-9:00AM. Office focused positions work on-site due to the nature of the work and have limited remote days.
