Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely review of all paperwork submitted by the retail stores. This includes the verification of cash overage(s)/shortage(s), gallons overage/shortage, invoice accuracy, and all manually entered items at the store level (gift cards, EBT transactions, money orders, etc). The Retail Auditor should spot any items that do not seem correct at the store level.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of retail invoices entered to ensure accuracy
- Oversee the overage/shortage of gallons and cash
- Validate the inventory counts from the store
- Correct all mistakes that are found at the store level
- Accurate analysis of all elements of the paperwork
- Collaborate with management to develop audit plans, objectives, and timelines.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, including recommendations for corrective actions.
- Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
Experience
- Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
- Proven experience in auditing
- Two years of experience in retail industry, C-store experience is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently are critical for success in this role.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
