Medical Scheduler

We are a large practice with over 25 practitioners that serve the skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and our homebound patients in the comfort of their home in 14 counties. Our medical practice is looking for an outstanding Medical Scheduler to join our growin scheduling team. In this role, the Medical Scheduler will help schedule patients and use their clinical knowledge to provide patient support, answer questions and ensure timely and efficient appointment scheduling.

Additional Responsibilities May Include

• Scheduling, rescheduling and cancellation of appointments.
• Conduct pre-procedure appointment confirmations.
• Review and address post hospital follow up appointments.
• Update census with most up to date appointment dates.
• Gather updated information to ensure patients are scheduled in a timely manner.
• Secure patient information and maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure new admits and discharges are addressed per the workflow chart.
• Efficiently communicate with the provider and support staff team.
