Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as Home Health Scheduler. Desirable candidates will have strong relationship building and communication skills, as well as experience in the Home Health industry.
Responsibilities:- Understands and adheres to establish the agencies policies and procedures.
- Creates and maintains staff schedules.
- Provides staffing for sick leave, vacations, FMLA leave.
- Enters scheduling data, creates schedules.
- Contacts clinicians and clients regarding day to day changes.
- Discerns client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests and care plans.
- Enters staff and client information into database.
- Maintains staff and client database
- Maintains staff and client statistics, and reports.
- Performs general office duties
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Prior Scheduling experience preferred.
- Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Wellsky.
- Basic Medical Terminology.
- Interpersonal, organizational and communications skills.
- Exceptional multitasking skills
- Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
- Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
- Must have working knowledge of home health care industry
