Your Role: Providing Compassionate, Person-Centered Care
As a CNA/PCA with Home Rule, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care in their homes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building Meaningful Connections: Interacting with residents and their families daily, fostering a supportive and caring environment.
- Delivering Exceptional Service: Utilizing your customer service skills to ensure residents feel valued and receive personalized care.
- Assisting with Daily Living Activities: Providing hands-on assistance with grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and meal assistance for residents with varying mobility needs.
- Ensuring Safe and Proper Care: Adhering to Resident Care Standards and Practices, following care plans, and using appropriate assistive devices for safe transfers.
- Creating a Comfortable Environment: Preparing resident rooms and ensuring a clean and organized space.
- Supporting Health and Well-being: Assisting with meal preparation, medication reminders, and monitoring resident conditions.
- Mobility Assistance: Safely transferring residents with limited mobility between wheelchairs and beds.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid CNA Certification: A current and active CNA license is required.
- Experience Preferred: Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living environment is highly valued.
- Understanding of Care Plans: Ability to read and understand Resident Plans of Care or assignments (ADLs, introductory visits, etc.).
- Commitment to Quality: A strong understanding of quality of care and quality of life objectives.
- Health Requirements: Recent PPD or Chest X-Ray and current CPR certification.
- Compassionate Nature: A genuine desire to provide compassionate and respectful care.
