Position Description :
Home Run Inn Pizza is seeking a meticulous, organized, and reliable Inventory Specialist to join the team!
Job Summary : The Inventory Specialist will be a key contributor responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Ensuring the availability of materials, supporting the overall efficiency of our production operation, and identifying inventory improvements. This role will support the timely and accurate closure of work orders.
Shift Details : Monday-Friday, 10AM 6PM with occasional Saturday shifts or other mandatory overtime as needed. Voluntary overtime opportunities may be available as well. Must be flexible to adjust hours daily based on department needs. (Flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift and weekends)
Main Responsibilities :
Develop and implement a HRI Work Order Documentation and Closing Process that accounts for all usage, scrap, overage, and returns to stock movements.
Coordinating with Production and Warehouse teams to ensure adherence to the HRI Work Order Documentation and Closing Process.
Tracking and analyzing inventory discrepancies. Report trends to production manager.
Monitoring quantities in stock and alert to Production Manager and Supply Chain discrepancies and overages.
Maintaining detailed and complete records.
Analyze Inventory required for future production runs (Next Day, Current Week, Special Runs).
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Investigate and repair receiving and shipping discrepancies.
Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
Establish Kanban System and Levels.
Manage inventory adjustments, returns, and disposal of obsolete stock.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Establishing and monitor a robust FEFO process.
Creating and maintaining a documented usage process to ensure inventory accuracy and adherence to procedure.
Facilitate continuous improvement processes pertaining to work orders and inventory.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
Proven experience as an Inventory Specialist or in a similar role.
3 to 5 Years of Inventory Management or Control Experience.
Proficiency in multiple ERP Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven experience with RF Scanners (Systematic Inventory Movement)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Forklift Certified (Stand Up)
Must be able to stand, sit, walk, reach and stoop for the duration of an 8-hour shift with applicable breaks.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
Must be able to withstand exposure to hot and cold environments.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including off shifts and weekends.
