POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Marketing Manager is a key role within our Marketing Team. Put your entrepreneurial spirit and creativity to use generating marketing leads and driving brand awareness. Under general supervision of the Marketing Director, the Asst. Marketing Manager performs a variety of administrative duties relating to Event and Retail functions as well as Proximity Marketing, and programs including appointments, equipment, training, and general paperwork.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Manage the life cycle of appointments and serve as the main contact for Event Staff/Proximity Marketers.
· Research and identify new events, retail, and proximity marketing opportunities (e.g., local farmers' markets).
· Track and report key performance metrics (KPIs) to the Director with action plans.
· Coordinate schedules for event staff, move-in times, and equipment logistics.
· Maintain equipment log and organize the event storage area.
· Manage data entry for Event Staff/Proximity Marketers in systems like Timesheet Mobile and EnabledPlus.
· Assist in interviewing and onboarding new team members.
· Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff.
· Monitor and replenish marketing materials and promotional supplies.
· Provide weekly updates to Event Staff, including site assignments and cancellations.
· Assist in administrative tasks, including HR document delivery, bonus calculations, and expense tracking.
· Generate reports on weekly/monthly performance, sales, and staffing.
· Identify new lead generation opportunities.
· Supervise and develop staff, including coaching and disciplinary action when needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Ability to multi-task, good organizational skills, and handle high levels of stress. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
