POSITION SUMMARY:
The Field Operations Manager position exists to lead a successful operations and production team to achieve KPI’s while delivering a world class team and homeowner experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead Cedar Valley facilities operation and production teams to meet or exceed their monthly KPI’s
- Collaborate with General Manager, Production Manager, Tech measurers, and Installers to ensure job timelines are being met and install calendar is scheduled accurately
- Ensure LSWP (Lead Safe Work Practices) are followed to ensure accurate and updated record keeping.
- Ensure all operations and production teams are following the correct safety guidelines and regulations.
- Ensure company policies are followed
- Ensure Installation and TM (Tech Measuer) capacity exceeds plan
- Efficiently communicate install information to the team daily
- Utilize continuous improvement and training opportunities
- Meet with homeowners and installers to ensure successful job completion
- Recruit, hire and train new employees to meet plan
- Inspect what you expect from the team and use performance management tools and processes
- Support our culture of delighting internal and external customers
- Participate in leadership development and training opportunities
- Ensure payroll for operation and production team members is accurate and submitted on time to Human Resources
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of installation & safety policies and ensure compliance from team
- Assist in other Operations related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
To exceed the Install Revenue Plan, it is essential to ensure proper hiring and training to meet installation goals, supervise the team to adhere to installation timeframes, and nurture future leaders within the organization. Additionally, achieving a 90% or better first-time-through rate requires maintaining a 99% or better accuracy rate for team members, completing kitchen calls on every job, collecting payments consistently, and maintaining daily communication with Project Managers, the warehouse, and Install Managers regarding job status. A 95% or better “Promised Install Date” must also be realized. To achieve the Field Overhead Budget Plan, payroll, purchases, and efficiency must be managed carefully to meet monthly budget goals, a Lean Program should be implemented throughout the warehouse, and the team should be led to achieve their individual bonuses. Lastly, earning an over 85 Project NPS necessitates monitoring Medallia daily, responding promptly to project surveys, and training the team to delight customers while encouraging them to complete surveys.
- 6 years previous experience in operations leadership or related leadership experience and/or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of installation and safety practices
- Ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Osha 30
- Lead Renovator Certification (RRP Training)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
