POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Manager role means belonging to a great team. The Production Manager is responsible for the entire production process of Home Solutions Midwest. The Production Manager oversees all installation crews. The Production Manager coordinates all activities related for the entire process of the installation jobs. The Production Manager is responsible for seeing that all jobs are completed on time, on budget and with a high level of quality. The Production Manager will represent Home Solutions Midwest for all production related items. Complete customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Ensures compliance with all company rules, policies and agreements

· Oversee personnel assignments to quality, delivery, productivity, and daily scheduling to ensure customer satisfaction and production goals are met

· Evaluates quality at each production step

· Coordinate with vendors to ensure on time product delivery and inventory control

· Document company procedures and train employees

· Prior to the start of work, the Production Manager will review upcoming jobs to ensure all specifications and job conditions have been documented and assessed. The Production Manager will meet with the Design Consultant or Project Manager if necessary to complete any missing items prior to install

· The Production Manager is responsible for company vehicles, tools and equipment, including their maintenance and in good operating conditions

· Perform regular jobsite inspections for coaching opportunities of quality and safety

· Serve as primary job site contact for installation team for the entirety of the installation life cycle, including the requirement to resolve all installation and customer discrepancies

· Review homes and the completed work daily. Determine the status per production schedule to ensure completion

· Reduce waste and limit additional expenditures

· Ensure a safe worksite that aligns with all safety guidelines and other regulatory requirements

· Encourage and foster a team environment with effective communication and problem solving

· Proactively recognize situations that could impact customer expectations, job costs and/or required residential building codes. Creates documented solutions when forecasted issues arise

· Break down all required materials for successful first-time completion of all jobs, completes orders/pick up for shop

· Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily. Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form and interface with all departments. Must maintain absolute confidentiality. Must be able to multi-task, be accurate, have good organizational skills and handle high levels of stress. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

· Construction Experience: 2-5 years

· 2-5 years of experience in construction management preferred, with strong preference given to experience in residential construction

· Knowledge of industry safety practices

· Excellent computer skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

· Relevant supervisory, hiring, and management experience with a proven track record for leading teams to measurable success

· Well organized and detail oriented

· Strong proven leadership and negotiation qualities with a focus on deadlines and attention to detail

· Valid Driver’s License

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· Frequent work performed in a sedentary position

· Frequent work performed while standing

· Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and kneel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
