Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage floor care, including carpet cleaning and maintenance of hard surface floors.
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring all items are clean and presentable.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks, maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and reporting any needs to the supervisor.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve efficient cleaning operations in both residential and commercial spaces.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or related field, preferably in hotel or residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in floor care and sanitation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Experience in commercial cleaning is a plus but not required.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to housekeeping management is essential.
