Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service within the hospitality environment, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike.MUST BE ABLE TO USE A SMART PHONE AND OWN A SMART PHONE BRING OWN SUPPLIES WE PAY 50% of supplies!
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas within the facility.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
- Supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations and adherence to cleaning protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all necessary items are stocked and in good working condition.
- Conduct inspections of rooms and all areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around guest activities or events.
- Address any guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
