Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented, creative, and detail-oriented cabinet designer to join our team in a dynamic showroom environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing custom cabinetry, an eye for aesthetics, technical knowledge, and the ability to bring our clients’ visions to life. You will be responsible for designing custom cabinetry solutions for kitchens, bathrooms, and other interior spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
- Develop and present design concepts using CAD software and other design tools.
- Create detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications for custom cabinetry projects.
· Site visits to confirm client dimensions and needs and join cabinet final measures to verify cabinet related selections
· Attend trade shows as an exhibitor
- Collaborate with production and installation teams to ensure design feasibility and project execution.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and finishes.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to clients.
- Assist with showroom displays and maintain engaging customer experience.
Other responsibilities
· Manage and organize samples
· Research alternative drawing and design programs to enhance presentations, design capabilities, and operational efficiencies.
· Research and recommend industry recognized best practices and associations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cabinet design, interior design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as Chief Architect, KCD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, and finishes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Experience working in a custom cabinet shop, showroom, or related environment is a plus.
