What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Home Stager position at Home Staging OC?
Job Overview:
We are an established and rapidly growing boutique home staging firm based in Orange County, and are seeking a part time Lead Stager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy & high energy, with the ability to multi-task and willingness to perform a variety of duties. Must possess excellent communication skills, be well spoken & must have the ability to travel throughout greater Orange County and adjacent cities/counties as needed with their own transportation. The Lead Stager will assist in the preparation and execution of our real estate staging projects. Design or staging experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the staging team to set up and dismantle stages in Orange County
- Assist team with projects from concept to completion
- Assists with installing stages: Helping to unload truck, furniture placement, accessorize rooms, make and steam beds, clean inventory placed on- site, and hang artwork.
- Destaging of homes: Assists in packing accessories, bedding/textiles and artwork, ensures all items have been removed from property
- Assists with warehouse organization
- Attends monthly team huddles, monthly meetings and team building events
Qualifications:
- Must have design or staging experience
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently as well as with a team
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ideal candidate will be an excellent problem solver, possess the ability to organize, multitask & be able to pivot or change direction quickly.
- Must be able to learn how to design a variety of spaces and perform tasks associated with design including, but not limited to choosing accessories, bedding, furniture pieces that compliment each other
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs at times
- Basic proficiency with small tools (hammer, tape measure, level, screwdriver, wrenches)
- Must be able to hang artwork
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and willing to travel throughout Orange County
- Hours can vary depending upon week, work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm Pacific Time. However, Saturday and Sunday hours may be required as needed. Candidate must be flexible with hours as some weeks are much busier than others. May be open to a set work schedule of days/times

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per year
