We are seeking a results-driven Mortgage Loan Officer to join Home State Bank in Hutchinson or Litchfield, MN. This position will generate new business through referrals, underwriting, structuring, closing real estate loans, and servicing an existing portfolio. It will also require business development and community involvement.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with new and current clients, contacting customers to discuss loan needs, evaluating credit and financial histories, determining the best loan products for the customer's needs, processing and submitting loan applications and documentation, advising clients on loan status, maintaining and updating client account records, and coordinating with the team to meet the scheduled closing date.
You will need a high school diploma, a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or accounting preferred, at least 2 years of professional experience as a mortgage lender or mortgage loan processor, knowledge of local, state, and federal loan regulations, including TRID, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Navigator, Encompass, or other mortgage loan processing platforms, and an outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic team-oriented personality.

This role can work in the office at our Hutchinson or Litchfield locations or select a hybrid arrangement.
