What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller - Full-time position at Home State Bank?

We believe that relationships with our customers are our most important assets and we strive to provide the best service possible every day. Home State Bank has a Full-time Teller opening in Crystal Lake, IL, across from the downtown Starbucks. This is not a remote or work-from-home position.
A typical day might include:
- Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsement.
- Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
- Enters transactions into computer to record transactions and issues receipts.
- Balances currency, coin, and checks in drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
- Explains, promotes, or sells products and services to customers.
- Accepts loan payments.
Education or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Cash handling preferred.
