Position
Do you love helping people? Are you friendly, motivated, and ready to learn? As a Sales Associate at Home Surplus, you will help customers find the right products while learning new skills and growing in your career. This job is a great way to start in sales, design, or even management!
What You’ll Do
- Help customers find what they need and answer their questions.
- Learn about our products like cabinets, doors, and countertops.
- Listen to customers and suggest the best solutions for them.
- Follow up with customers through phone, text, and email.
- Make sure orders are correct and work with the team to fulfill them.
- Keep the store looking great by organizing displays.
- Share customer feedback to help us improve.
- Work as a team to give customers the best experience.
What We’re Looking For

â Comfortable with sales – you’re happy to ask questions and suggest products.

â Comfortable with technology – you can use sales tools and systems on a computer.
â Retail or home improvement experience is a plus.
â Available to work some Saturdays (retail hours).
â Speaking Spanish is a plus!
Physical & Work Environment
- Standing and walking for long periods.
- Talking with customers in person, on the phone, or through email/video.
- Typing on a keyboard to enter orders and customer details.
- Working in a retail store and warehouse setting.
