Home Sweet Home Cleaning & Gardening LLC is growing—and we’re looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead and support our incredible field team!
About the Role:
As our Operations Manager, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes backbone that keeps our team running smoothly. You’ll work closely with leadership and field technicians to ensure quality service, efficient scheduling, and team accountability—while building a supportive, high-performance culture.
This full-time, in-office leadership position is based in Sangerfield, NY and comes with hiring and firing authority. You’ll be responsible for building and managing a team that lives up to our high standards.
What You’ll Do:
• Monitor daily operations and staffing to ensure seamless service delivery
• Manage emergency time off and enforce attendance policies
• Conduct field quality checks and coach team members for improvement
• Collaborate with the office team to align on hiring, scheduling, and client needs
• Support new hires through check-ins, mentoring, and training oversight
• Track team KPIs (hours worked, satisfaction scores, re-cleans, etc.)
• Lead or co-lead team meetings and recognition efforts
• Handle discipline and performance improvement plans
• Ensure equipment is maintained and organized
• Interview, hire, onboard, and—when necessary—terminate staff in alignment with company values and performance standards
• Step in with solutions when things get messy—literally or figuratively!

• Prior leadership, operations, or management experience
• Strong communicator who can balance empathy with accountability
• Proven experience interviewing, hiring, and managing team performance
• Organized, tech-comfortable, and skilled at managing moving pieces
• Calm under pressure and quick on your feet
• Someone who loves solving problems and uplifting teams
