Job Description: As a Handyman at Home Sweet Gnome, you’ll be working directly with the
owner, handling various odds and ends, backyard projects, and home repairs. This is a Monday-Friday position offering 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, can take initiative, and is eager to grow into a leadership role as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general handyman tasks, such as home repairs, yard work, and pool maintenance
- Assist with the assembly and installation of outdoor structures (e.g., fences, pergolas)
- Lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Drive to various job sites in Hill Country
- Maintain a professional and clean-cut appearance
- As the business grows, take on management responsibilities and potentially oversee a
team
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Desire to invest in and buy into the business as it expands
