What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upper East Side Full-time Nanny position at Home Team Hires?
We are looking for an incredible nanny to join our family and care for our 2.5 year old full-time from 9-6PM Monday-Friday. We have another on the way in the fall. We follow a Montessori-inspired approach at home and are looking for a nanny who is either familiar with or open to learning and supporting this method.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing attentive and loving care throughout the day
- Planning age-appropriate activities & playdates (indoor and outdoor)
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
- Maintaining a consistent nap schedule and daily routine
- Keeping child’s play and eating areas tidy
- Occasional light child-related laundry
Ideal Candidate:
- 5 years of experience with toddlers
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)
- Proactive, reliable, and excellent with communication
- Familiar with the UES and local parks, libraries, and classes
Compensation:
Competitive and commensurate with experience, plus paid time off and holidays.
