Job Description:
Under supervision of the General Manager and Restaurant Management team, an Hourly Restaurant Manager ensures the shift and flow of service within the restaurant run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate smooth service in all departments by overseeing bar, floor, support, and host teams.
- Cash handling and business management in line with company standards and practices.
- Coordinate communication between FOH and BOH both prior to shift to run engaging and informative pre-shift meetings and during to facilitate positive guest experience and efficient service.
- Supervise FOH staff and provide assistance and support from a corrective coaching perspective.
- Keep detailed records and items to include in daily manager’s log.
- Monitor compliance with safe alcohol service, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Handle guest issues in the moment as they come up as a representative of the company’s standards, practices, and values.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2 – 4 years’ experience in a server/bartender role.
- Previous experience in an hourly/key holder role is ideal.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software (Toast, 7Shifts, etc).
- Customer service attitude.
- Communication and team management abilities.
- Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).

- Work scheduled 30 hours per week (3 – 4 shifts per week based on needs of restaurant). 100%
