Job Overview
We seek a dedicated and skilled Facility Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance of our Employee Owned company, Home-Tech. This role is essential in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to a safe and productive environment.
Home-Tech is an Employee-Owned company that has provided quality Air Conditioning and Appliance service to Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Sarasota, and Manatee counties for over 43 years.
Duties
- Provides operational direction and oversees maintenance operations.
- Acts as a liaison between vendors, and departments to ensure services are provided timely and efficiently.
- Meets with contractors, obtain bids, and coordinate projects with contractors and vendors including but not limited to: (General contractors, fleet maintenance and repairs, elevator service, fire department Inspections, locksmiths, pest control, site work, custodial services, landscape services, alarm & security systems, sprinkler system, roofers, etc.)
- Compliance with applicable safety regulations and policies.
- Maintain and monitor building compliance with Building Codes & Standards for local, city, county, state, and federal agencies.
- Assist warehouse with part pickup and delivery.
- Perform other duties as delegated.
- Follow federal and state laws, as well as company policies.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical issues using voltmeters and ohmmeters is highly desirable.
- A background in fabrication techniques is a plus.
