Responsibilities: - Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. - Provide direct patient care and help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. - Conduct assessments and document patient progress and treatment outcomes. - Collaborate with the occupational therapist to develop individualized treatment plans. - Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Qualifications: - Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a valid license. - Acute care experience is preferred but not required. - Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. - Familiarity with occupational health practices and procedures. - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
