Description :
The Home Health Aide is responsible for providing high quality , safe and supportive care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. In addition, the Home health aide will assist the patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) , and other necessary task that are essential to their every day living.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Personal Car e- Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, showering, and dressing.
- Mobility- Assist with ambulation, physical therapy exercise and walking inside and outside the home.
- Meal s- Assist with the planning and preparation of meals
- Housekeepin g- perform light housekeeping duties where needed (dishes, bedding, laundry, dust, sweep, mop, etc.).
- Reminders- Remind clients to take prescription medications and of scheduled appointments.
- Errands- Complete shopping task or accompany patients while they shop.
- Transportation- Provide safe and reliable transportation to appointments, shopping, pharmacy, and other errands as needed.
