Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant in Murfreesboro, TN:
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time nanny/family assistant for a family with 7-year-old boy-girl twins. This role includes assisting with childcare, transportation, and household tasks to help maintain a structured and supportive environment. Compensation: $25-30 per hour
Start Date: March 3rd 2025
Schedule: 10-6pm 40 hours per week. Flexibility for occasional travel or extended hours
Work uniform will be provided:
Benefits: :2 weeks paid vacation, 3-5 sick/personal days. Major holidays off and paid: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day
Responsibilities:
- Transport the twins to and from school and activities.
- Prepare afternoon snacks and assist with mealtime as needed.
- Support the children with routines and provide age-appropriate care, keeping their sensory processing needs in mind.
- Assist with light housekeeping, including tidying, laundry, and basic cleaning tasks.
- Help organize the household and manage day-to-day operations during the parents’ busy periods.
- Travel with the family quarterly as needed (expenses covered).
- Provide additional support during times when the father is out of town.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has prior experience working with children, especially those with sensory processing needs.
- Is flexible, adaptable, and comfortable shifting between being a nanny and a mother’s helper depending on the day.
- Has a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Is willing to travel with the family.
- Is organized, proactive, and able to assist with household management.
- Loves dogs, as the family has two friendly 3-year-old goldendoodles.
Qualifications:
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Prior experience in childcare and household support roles.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, patient demeanor.
- Provide 3-5 professional references.
- U.S. wok authorization.
