Housekeeper/Family Assistant in Washington Crossing, PA $25/hour:
A professional family is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to assist with maintaining their home and providing occasional oversight for their 11-year-old son. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to commit to a long-term arrangement.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Days: 2-3 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday)
- Hours: 2PM-6PM ( Can be flexible )
- 10 to 15 Hours Per Week Guaranteed
- Pay: $25- $28 per hour (cash)
- 1 Week Paid Vacation- 2 Sick days/ 2 Personal days
- Start Date: As soon as the right candidate is found
Responsibilities:
Housekeeping & Household Tasks:
- Full cleaning of the first floor (approximately 3,000 sq. ft.) once per week
- Light tidying on other scheduled days
- Laundry assistance-Family Laundry
- Meal prepping assistance
Child Oversight (Occasional):
- Provide light supervision for an 11-year-old when needed
- Ensure homework is completed
- Provide a snack and limit screen time
- Advance notice of at least three days for childcare needs (likely to coincide with regular schedule)
Additional Considerations:
- 6,000 sq. ft. home (focus on maintaining the first floor)
- No pets in the household
- Seeking a long-term commitment
Qualifications:
- Prior professional housekeeping experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Must be proactive and able to anticipate household needs
- Comfort with occasional childcare support
- Must provide 3-5 professional references
- Must have valid U.S. work authorization
