Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced and compassionate Night nanny to support a family during the recovery period following a scheduled C-section on November 22, 2024. The position will provide overnight care for our newborn, with a tentative start date of November 25 or 26. This is a short-term position expected to last 2-4 weeks, with potential for extension based on the family’s needs. Must be pet friendly, there is a friendly long-haired cat.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, overnight newborn care, including feeding, changing, soothing, and monitoring
- Assist with establishing a sleep routine and ensuring a calm and safe sleep environment
- Be available to support the mother if needed during her recovery
- Maintain a tidy sleep area and handle any necessary light newborn-related tasks
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in newborn care
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Non-smoker and comfortable with pets
- Own transportation to and from the family’s home
- Provide 3-5 professional references
