Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and maintaining a clean and well-functioning vehicle.
Duties
- Operate shuttle vehicles, including vans and buses, to transport passengers efficiently and safely.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicle.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that may occur during transport.
- Perform minor mechanical checks or maintenance as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license preferred; experience in bus driving, van driving, or shuttle driving is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance is a plus, with the ability to perform basic repairs when necessary.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with passengers of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations while ensuring passenger safety.
- A clean driving record with no major violations is required.
- Must be able to lift 30-75 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a background check and be badged at airport.
