Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will also provide exceptional customer service while addressing maintenance requests and supervising any necessary repairs.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule preventive maintenance, and manage inventory.
- Painting and Knowledge of carpentry.
- Respond promptly to customer service requests regarding maintenance issues, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in building systems is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management about supply needs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
