Job Summary
A Maintenance Engineer you are responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You will also be required to preform general cleaning to all public areas and respond to guest requests.
What will I be doing?
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas
- Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
- Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry
- Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
- You will also be required to preform general cleaning to all public areas and respond to guest requests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary.
- Physical stamina to perform job duties for extended periods, including lifting and moving items as needed.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
