The Guest Service Agent will be responsible for providing superior customer service to guests by assisting with room reservations, registering guests using POS, responding to guest requests, and completing daily recordkeeping and reports.
Hilton Experience Preferred. Salary based on level of Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recognizes and greets guests. Makes guest courtesy calls.
Registers, assigns rooms, issues room keys and provides directions to guests.
Processes, controls and confirms reservations.
Maintains records of room availability and guests' accounts.
Responds appropriately to information requests and complaints.
Operates Front Desk equipment, including POS and credit card processing.
Completes paper work necessary for Front Desk Operations (registration folios, credit card vouchers, cashier reports, room reports, prepaid reservations log, etc.).
Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; travel directions and local activities (shopping, dining, entertainment).
Computes bills, collects payments. Posts charges (i.e., room, food, liquor, or telephone) to ledger.
Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance. Extends hospitality and courtesy to guests and co-workers.
Ensures compliance with Brand Standards.
Performs other duties as assigned by proper authority.
