The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds. Salary based on the level of experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs equipment and room preventative maintenance actions as specified in a preventative maintenance manual and scheduled on the daily maintenance schedule.
- Performs work order request items as listed on daily maintenance schedule.
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as received from housekeeping, front desk, management and/or guests. Records work accomplished and time spent for completion.
- Maintains required records as outlined in a preventive maintenance program or as required by local authorities.
- May prepare requisitions for replacement of bench stock items, locating and purchasing materials as needed for emergency repairs, training and supervising maintenance apprentice or grounds maintenance.
- Provides security by following all key procedures, maintains work areas in a clean, well-organized condition, reports suspicious activity by guests or others and follows all other safety regulations.
- Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance. Extends hospitality and courtesy to guests and co-workers.
- Ensures compliance with Brand Standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned by proper authority.
