Employee will be a dual department employee and will be in the breakfast area and the laundry area.
A breakfast host greets guests, creates a welcoming atmosphere, and provides excellent customer service during breakfast. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests: Greet guests warmly as they enter the breakfast area
- Provide service: Ensure guests are seated, served, and have their needs met in a timely manner
- Maintain the breakfast area: Keep the breakfast area clean, stocked, and organized
- Maintain inventory: Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies
- Order supplies: Order or purchase food supplies as needed
A laundry attendant is responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distributing soiled clothing and linens according to fabric type and color, ensuring proper stain treatment, operating laundry machines, and maintaining cleanliness within the laundry area, often following specific washing instructions for delicate items; key duties include sorting laundry, loading and unloading machines, removing stains, folding clean items, and adhering to quality control standards. Key responsibilities may include:
- Sorting laundry: Categorizing soiled items by color, fabric type, and washing instructions.
- Stain treatment: Applying appropriate stain removal techniques to pre-treat stains on garments.
- Operating laundry machines: Loading and operating washing and drying machines according to set parameters.
- Folding and hanging clothes: Properly folding clean items or hanging delicate garments.
- Quality control: Inspecting laundry for cleanliness, damage, and missing items.
- Maintaining equipment: Cleaning and maintaining laundry machines, including lint traps.
- Following safety procedures: Adhering to chemical handling guidelines and proper safety protocols
- Inventory management: Keeping track of laundry supplies and reporting any shortages
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
