Summary of Position
Launder all soiled linen to ensure full cleanliness and sanitation for Guest Room Attendants to stock guest rooms.
Requirements
- Has a minimum one (1) years of facility experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willing to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.
General Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all Housekeeping procedures.
- Understand and follow all safety procedures.
- Understand and follow all chemical safety guidelines.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Operate laundry equipment safely.
- Inspect linen with detail and care for stains and damage.
- Clean guest rooms with attention to detail and care.
Specific Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service and greet all guests with a smile.
- Practice safety standards always and keep the property safe for guest and associates.
- Understand all hotel Safety procedures such as proper lifting, ladder safety, first aid, eye protection and chemical safety.
- Maintain clean linen for placement in guest rooms.
- Retrieve soiled linen from housekeeping carts and guest rooms.
- Sort linen by type (towels, sheets, blankets).
- Pretreat linen for noticeable stains.
- Ensure machines have appropriate chemicals.
- Wash linen according to guidelines.
- Dry linen to according to guidelines.
- Fold linen according to standard procedures.
- Maintain a log for lost and damaged linen.
- Maintain appropriate inventories throughout shift for efficient service.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace.
- Follow procedures for the closing and cleaning of all areas and equipment.
- Fully understand and be able to perform all duties of Guest Room Attendant and House Persons.
- Perform other duties as needed and requested by management.
