Hotel Laundry Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our hotel facilities, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers to launder various items including linens, towels, and uniforms.
• Sort and categorize items based on fabric type and cleaning requirements.
• Inspect items for stains or damage prior to laundering and report any issues to management.
• Fold, hang, or package cleaned items appropriately for distribution throughout the hotel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to clean and launder various types of fabrics effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods during shifts.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
