Job Overview
The Front Desk Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Front Desk at our hotel. This position is responsible for managing guest services, overseeing front desk operations, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience. This position reports to the Assistant General Manager.
Duties
- Supervise daily front office operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Manage and train front desk staff to deliver outstanding guest services.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Oversee the reservation process, ensuring accurate bookings and room assignments.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments to coordinate guest services.
- Monitor phone systems to ensure proper etiquette and responsiveness in handling calls.
- Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare reports on front office activities, including occupancy rates and guest feedback.
Skills
- Strong background in hotel management or hospitality with experience at the front desk or in guest services.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Proficient phone etiquette and ability to manage multiple phone systems effectively.
