Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and common areas in our hotel. This role is essential to providing an exceptional experience for our guests, ensuring that all accommodations meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and snacks in guest rooms.
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized cart with cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Assist with laundry services as needed to ensure a steady supply of clean linens.
- Uphold the hotel’s standards of hospitality by providing friendly service to guests during interactions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial work is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality standards is an advantage.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties required, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
