Sales Director

Position Summary: As the Director of Sales, your role is essential to the success of the Company. That success depends upon the ability of the Director of Sales to interact constructively in community activities, create good positive community relationships and possess the ability to implement productive sales and marketing strategies/techniques that accurately reflect and enhance the hotel image in the community. Your sales ability must positively affect the growth and ultimately the success of the hotel. Experience in extended stay hotels is a plus!

Some duties include:

• Ensures guests feel at home in the hotel. Knows and recognizes regular guests.
• Sets appropriate sales and marketing objectives for improving hotel performance.
• Develops detailed sales and marketing plans and forecasts for the hotel.
• Stays current with market competition and the activities of competitors including promotions, advertising techniques, loyalty programs.
• Submits accurate sales reports, competition analysis, etc. as required.
• Understands profit and loss concepts at the hotel.
• Understands the unique aspects of the hotel market area, sales opportunities and its potential to increase guest room nights.
• Works as Manager on Duty for assigned shifts.
• Assist with the Front Desk and fill shifts as assigned by your General Manager.

Typical schedule is 8am-5pm, some nights and weekends are required.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
