What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant Part-Time position at Home2 Suites Dickson City PA?
The Home2 Suites By Hilton is currently looking to add a Part Time Laundry Attendant to our team. The Laundry Attendant will be required to work every weekend, and holidays.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Sort linens and other articles for appropriate wash/dry cycles.
· Separate stained/extremely soiled items for pre-wash stain treatment or special washing.
· Load washing machines according to manufacturer specifications and operational standards.
· Remove laundry from washers at conclusion of wash cycle.
· Load dryers with clean laundry and dry items using manufacturer specifications and operational standards.
· Immediately remove items from dryers when dry and fold items according to operational standards.
· Sort, count, and organize clean linens on carts according to operational standards.
· Move clean linens to housekeeping rooms using wheeled carts.
· Keep laundry room, laundry chute, laundry equipment and storage areas clean, tidy and laundry carts well-stocked.
· Perform other tasks, as needed and/or requested, to ensure that the hotel is prepared to provide every guest with a positive experience.
