What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live-In Female Personal Care Aide (PCA) - Brooklyn, NY (5 Positions Available!) position at Homecare Agency?
We're seeking 5 outstanding individuals to join our team as Live-In PCA’s in Brooklyn!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities: Including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Administer medications: as prescribed and provide medication reminders.
- Prepare nutritious meals: accommodating specific dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping: duties and assist with laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support: building strong, trusting relationships.
- Provide live-in care: Reside in the client’s home during your shift, ensuring 24/7 support.
What We’re Looking For:
- PCA or HHA certification in New York.
- Fluency in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
- Previous home care experience is preferred, but we're happy to train passionate individuals!
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and genuine compassion.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Recent physical exam (within the last 6 months), including drug test, measles/rubella titers, and flu vaccine.
