What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Homedics?
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion, within budget while maintaining project communication to ensure stakeholder awareness of Status, Risks and Roadblocks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OTHER DUTIES
Possess and maintain strong feeling of project ownership with focus on delivering projects on time, within budget and meeting quality expectations
Create and manage project schedules in Smartsheet
Track potential issues and manage within a timely resolution
Identify and escalate issues that threaten primary project metrics, i.e., project scope, timelines, budgets and quality expectations
Identify resource constraints and collaborate with management to address those constraints
Facilitate cross functional status meetings and prepare status documentation
Work closely with Product Management, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, China Operations, and others while carrying out responsibilities.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hybrid position
Numerous virtual meetings and conference calls weekly
Off hour and weekend availability as required to monitor/resolve issues with global teams.
Willing to travel to China if necessary. (10%)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.
Vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision as it pertains to working with a computer screen.
