Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans to ensure the specific needs of each client are met.
- Monitor and document patient observations and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safety during transfers.
- Administer first aid as needed and maintain a safe living environment for clients.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and physical well-being.
- Work collaboratively with families and healthcare teams to coordinate care effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience caring for clients with mental disabilities and mental health needs.
- Previous experience in home care, nursing homes, or memory care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques, including patient monitoring and observation skills.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Certification in First Aid or CPR is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required.
