OVERVIEW
Kaminsky’s Dessert Café in Downtown Charleston, SC is now hiring a General Manager.
We are seeking a passionate, innovative, hospitality driven, employee – centric General Manager to lead our team and create unforgettable moments for our guests. As the dessert café manager, you will be the heart and soul of our dessert destination! You will oversee daily operations, inspire our talented team, and ensure that every dessert, cocktail and coffee served is crafted with love and creativity. Your keen eye for detail and leadership skills will help us maintain a fun and engaging atmosphere, while also focusing on delivering top – notch customer service.
The Homegrown Hospitality Group consists of 9 different business concepts and over 15 locations located throughout South Carolina in Charleston, Columbia, and Myrtle Beach. Multiple concepts, multiple locations, one big family!

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Passion for desserts and creative flare for presentation
- Previous experience in managerial role within the food and beverage industry
- Previous experience in the dessert and coffee industries a plus, but not required
- Strong leadership and communication skills a must
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and energetic environment
- Ability to multitask and understand how and when to pivot to provide outstanding hospitality for our guests
- Ability to foster a healthy and productive environment for staff to grow and reach their full potential within the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of P & L analysis, inventory management and cost control practices
- Forward thinking and creative out of the box mindset
- Relationship driven and ready to be an ambassador for the brand, building relationships within the community to increase traffic and sales
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, upscale restaurant
- Proven ability to manage and motivate staff
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the hospitality industry
SALARY RANGE
$60,000 - $80,000 / Salary Annual (Plus Monthly Bonuses)
